Currently, I am a high school senior who will be graduating in June of this year. Should I volunteer at a hospital for this upcoming summer vacation or do medical schools only consider summer work when I am in college. Also, any extra advice for getting accepted into medical school is greatly appreciated. Thanks.For doctors, I wish attend medical school after college and I was just wondering what advice do you guys have?
If you can get a volunteer position @ a hospital take it! Because now is the time to get a taste of everything so you can figure out what you really want to do, b/c its sucks being a confused junior in college. You will end up wasting alot of time. So, I definitely recommend interning, and asking a million questions. Its your life.
Make sure you dont get burnt out in college. Make getting grades your top priority but dont forget to have a social life. I dont mean getting drunk every weekend I mean just hanging out w/ friends.
