I really like one of my best friends. I've known him since we were 5. He flirts with me eveyday I see him. He smiles when I'm around. What are a couple signs that I could know if he really does like me. And if he does, why wont he just tell me!?!?!I need some advice... guys and girls!!?
If he flirts with you a lot (which he already does), if he pays special attention to you and is always trying to avoid eye contact then he likes you and i think he does because it's a fact that most bestfreinds fall for each other after a while. the reason he's not telling you is because he's afraid that you don't feel the same way.......You should talk to himI need some advice... guys and girls!!?
Just ASK him! lol! Some guys are too shy to talk to girls, even best friends, about love and deep friendship. You KNOW he likes you, it's just a matter of how much. Don't be afraid to just sit down with him and start talking about your friendship, and ask how he feels and tell him your feelings. Good luck!

Oh My gosh, I have the SAME EXACT problem! My best guy friend ( that I've known since pre-school ) is exactly like that. I feel that


a. He is shy


b. He thinks that if he asks you out that if you said no it would ruin your friendship


c. A %26amp; B


I say that you take the risk and ask HIM out. If he is flirting with you everyday, you already know that he really likes you. Good luck!
guys are complicated, they always send the wrong message.. so you can't really tell, plus 98% of the time they're always lying.

actually there is a rule ; if a friend passes 3 tests from his/her friend , we can call the friend a good one.u can look for a simple test for ur friend such as : sending a bad sms , appearing cold and unfriendly ,,, and examining the results as to reach the answer of ur question.


the shorter way for ur answer is telling him : Hey i love u ,and waiting for HIS answer ...
you could email him or write him a letter, or just ask him out yourself........ girls are aloud to ask too!

If you are positive he likes you and he flirts with you then just stuff a note in like his locker or cubby thing, but just odnt tell him it's you give him clues and everything and then finally tell him it's you then he will be so happy that it is you!

As for why: Perhaps he is scared to lose the friendship, once that line is crossed, things do change. Some for the good and some for the bad but you cannot go back to just being friends if it doesn't work out romantically.
Flirting and smiling are good signs...does he treat you differently i.e. more special than other girls? If so, that's a good sign too. He might not tell you because he thinks you don't like him like that, or he's too shy. Try being more bold and outgoing about your feelings, and if he likes you, he'll probably reciprocate.
maybe he doesnt like u? or he doesnt wanna ruin the friendship. usually wen gurls like guys, they think that the guy is flirting wen the guy is only talking and they think the dude is smiling because of them wen he just likes to smile. find some real evidence that he likes u back then make a move.
well when he smiles at you when he sees you and flirts with you and stuff them are signs and maybe the reason why he has not told you is because maybe he is shy or is afride to tell you because he might be afride that it might mess up you guys relationship you already have with him....there is many reasons why he my not tell you!!! i hope this helps you and good luck with all that!!!

Well, why won't you just tell him?
He probably is asking the same question about you. He likes you, definitely, so next time he smiles at you punch him in the face for not asking you out. After you've shown him you mean business and like to where the pants/hold the leash, he's bound to ask you out.


P.S. If he doesn't I'm free...my Wednesday just had a baby...on her 35th birthday...it's not mine.

my best guy friend flirted with me every day and gave off every sign of liking me,


but he didn't.


Mention you like somebody he knows and watch carefully for his reaction,

If he compliments you to his friends is a true sign. Does he talk about you when you're not around? Does he ever just stare at you (your face!) when he thinks you're not looking? Check it out. He probably thinks you would laugh in his face if he told you. He thinks you think of him as a brother.
having known him for so long... dont get the signs mixed.. what you think is flirting could just be him being really friendly..it could be that he doesnt like you in that way at all and that he knows he can be that friendly with you without you getting the wrong idea.





dont ruin a good friendship with love.. its too complicated and people get hurt.
