Im in the exact position just the other way around. She broke up with me. Just wait for school to roll around again and if he doesnt miss what he had then *** him. I dont want to be friends with her I want to be her boyfriend. I say friends are a little overrated so if its just friends; tell him to forget it.
If you can't handle a platonic friendship with him then don't. You're not with him anymore the only person's happiness you have to worry about now is your own. Don't hurt yourself in the process of pleasing him.
He will be looking for someone else now to be his ';girlfriend';or more than likely has already found her,so just forget being friends with him, and get over it, stuff happens, we all have to deal with it.
